The great “Manchester United” Gary Neville explained how he treats his former team and how he believes they can win the title.
On paper, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team started the season well, winning four matches and one draw in the first stage of the season.
United are expected to face a decent challenge to this campaign, especially after a successful summer transfer window.
Solskjaer managed to persuade people like Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Rafael Varane to join his ambitious project, and fans were happy to see them perform.
The Red Devils have a lot of doubts right now, and it will be interesting to see if they can silence their critics.
According to Sky Sports, Neville said: “Manchester United are finally lucky, but that’s what they are – a” strange bunch “that plays in minutes during the games.
“United’s performance was no different from what we saw with Chelsea, so I said the best team would win the league.
“If Manchester United continue and win this league, it will gain momentum, and it will be through the moments, and it will be due to the fact that so many great players will play in forwards.
“But with Chelsea, the European champions, they are the best team when you look at them. Our eyes do not lie.”
As Neville suggests, Chelsea certainly seem unbeaten at the moment, but Solskjaer will probably make up his chances against Thomas Tuchel, beating him earlier.
The depth of Manchester United has certainly improved, but it can be argued that the balance has yet to be found, especially in midfield, as there are such different options.
Solskjaer will again have to be resourceful if he hopes to lead his team to silverware. In the end, his work is different.
