Volkswagen presents its new Tarok concept at the International Motor Show in São Paulo. This new choice of German combines urban SUV design elements with intelligent design flexibility in a five-meter insight.
Its design is highlighted by the Targa style toe bar, as well as the three-dimensional LED light strip on the back and side panels. Its interior is completely new to the range, with some striking details such as the cross Metallic Cypress bar that extends through the instrument panel. This bar surrounds a glass disclosure system, digital controls for air conditioning and the Digital Cockpit.
Tarok concept with large power and cargo space
One of the main features of Tarok Concept is the variable load area. The floor can be extended by opening the back door or using the innovative mechanism allowing the back of the cabin to be used to transport large and bulky items. Volkswagen plans that the maximum load will be around one ton for the mass production model.
The Tarok Volkswagen Concept is powered by a modern 1.4-liter TSI turbo engine that develops 150 kilometers, which is connected with a fast six-speed automatic transmission and a 4Motion permanent integral tracking system.
It is anticipated that future series production models will also have new generation TDI diesel engines.
