Russian coach Vladimir Kazarin, a suspect in the whole world, admitted that he still trains athletes, despite a ban. To not know, he allowed the beard to grow. His caught members of the Russian anti-doping agency in Kyrgyzstan.
Suspicion that the former coach of the Olympic champion Marie Savinov or Julia Stepanova was knowingly breaking the ban came out earlier. Kazarin confirmed them in an interview for TV Match.
Russian doping scandal
Development is clear
"I have been working in athletics for life, so my thoughts made me continue," said the 67-year-old coach. In April 2017, he received a life sentence for the possession and distribution of doping substances.
Failure to comply with the ban on officials and doctors was one of the reasons why the IAAF prolonged the suspension of the Russian Union one month ago, which has been maintained since November 2015 as a result of systemic doping in the country.
Thus, Russia is still in danger of being able to compete in the Doha World Cup at the end of September and in early October only with elected representatives who meet the conditions and only under a neutral flag.
