The circuit in Italy tried to get through immigrants – Eight people were arrested, allegedly members of the circuit
The Immigration Trade Circuit dismantled Katakolo, Ilia port authority, which detained eight people – four Greeks and four foreigners – who allegedly belonged to the circuit.
The merchants transported 119 registered immigrants (80 men, 15 women, 15 boys and 9 girls) to Kurouta Ileias yesterday morning. They tried to sail illegally from Italy to Italy.
According to the Coast Guard, the circuit had a hierarchically structured, durable and designated role for the arrested individuals, while more people were investigated.
The Catalan port authority, which carried out the preliminary investigation, seized a rifle and two buses for the transport of migrants and the sailboat.
