Volkswagen Company (VW) introduced the Tarok collection at the International Auto Show in Sao Paulo. According to preliminary information, a similar serial model will enter the Brazilian market in 2020. The German automaker does not exclude the possibility that this could be traded in other countries as well.
VW is currently finding out that Tarok has developed on the MQB modular platform. In addition, car assistants who visited the Sao Paulo exhibition have found that the seats have been taken from the Tiguan Allspace model.
The conceptual VW collection comes with a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine that develops 150 horses. The automatic gearbox has six-speed, just like the T-Cross model on the South American market. A 150 pc high-power two-liter diesel engine is also available for the standard model.
One of the features of a 5-door VW Tarok lifting is the possibility of lowering the back of back passengers in the passenger cabin and thus extending the load platform.
