Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli opened the International Cedar Festival on Saturday night and held a grand concert for 6,000 people, including artistic, political and public figures.
The festival was inspired by Bocell's biography, entitled "Human Fight", based on the sufferings of an Italian singer in his life.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the head of the Estrada Geagia Festival presented the Italian tenor, comparing it with the cedar tree and its generosity with the medal with the slogan of the festivals.
For his part, Bocelli expressed his happiness by saying: "Today I have restored sweet memories in this wonderful country and I wear the most beautiful feelings in my heart."
The Bucheli was accompanied by the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, which included 70 musicians, with the choir of 60 members of the University of Our Lady of Louise, led by Maestro Marcello Ruta.
