England faces Croatia in an emergency against the UEFA Nations League conflict Sky Sports on Sunday and Gareth Southgate has great decisions to do about choosing his team.

Who should choose his back against the side that dropped to England out of the World Cup just four months ago? And should he abolish Jadon Sancho from the start?

We look at the selection restrictions that face the head of England before the A4 Group conflicts who will decide who books are in the final League League League competition – and who suffers a fall.

Full-back: Youth or experience?

Joe Gomez is likely to be a John Stones partner in the absence of the injured Harry Maguire at the center, but it is less clear who Southgate will use it as his full backs.

Kyle Walker may be the most obvious choice on the right, with Kieran Trippier's injured, but the Manchester City star faces a strong competition by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who scored the second goal of England who won the prize man-in-the-game against the USA on Thursday.

Alexander-Arnold was praised after the game, describing him as "a dream came true" to score on his first appearance of Wembley for his country, but Walker has only five caps of the age of 20. Has he done enough to usurp his senior team member?

Southgate faces a similar similar decision on the left. Ben Chilwell, Leicester, scored when he made his first season in the powerless turkey against Croatia last month, and kept his place against Spain and the USA, but Southgate can also call on Luke Shaw's reason.

Field field question marks

Southgate used midfielder Harry Winks, Fabian Delph and Dele Alli against the USA on Thursday but there are plenty of other people weighing against Croatia.

Eric Dier will be the favorite to replace Delph in the holding role after starting in all of the United Nations League games in England, and Jordan Henderson, Liverpool, will also hope to recall that he has been seconder on the second half of Thursday.

Alli will be confident to keep his place, but what is Winks his Tottenham team? The 22-year-old was very impressive in the 3-2 last month's awards over Spain, but he's facing Ross Barkley, who has shy for Chelsea this season, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also the mix.

He leaves Southgate with enough to question, but with Luka Modric pulling the tunnels for Croatia, he knows he must be properly selected midfield.

Glue with Sancho?

Jadon Sancho's remarkable increase continued with the spectacular England round against the USA on Thursday. The 18-year-old was totally unexpected on the Wembley stage, experiencing a constant threat to visitors with speed, movement and blowing.

The question is now one that Southgate will keep with or not in a collection game. Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling are all but sure to start giving their team the importance to the Southgate team, but the third assault fan is not set in stone.

Will Marcus Rashford have the goal to score one goal and establish another in the 3-2 victory over Spain? Is Jesse Lingard, a member of the Manchester United team, played his way to the team with a performance against the USA? Or is it time to release Sancho?

Southgate may even be seen to find a place for Nick Bournemouth, Callum Wilson, who marked his first game on Thursday night.
