The Secretary of the Environment calls on a visit to the Sand Hutton laboratories

ENVIRONMENT It was reported that Secretary Michael Gove had canceled a planned trip to laboratories near York this afternoon as Brexit's crisis grew.

Mr Gove had been to attend the National Agricultural Food Innovation Campus at Sand Hutton for the official launch of pioneering testing tools for pesticides and other chemicals when running water.

But sources say that Mr Gove has decided to stay in London and scrape the journey, depending on speculation for more Cabinet conflicts following the announcement of Mrs May's Brexit yesterday.

Secretary of State Breib Dominic Raab, Northern Ireland minister Shailesh Vara and Secretary of Work and Pensions Esther McVey has already resigned.
