Biden adopts a named German pastor in Great Britain

(CNN) – –
Former Vice President Joe Biden has a new four-legged addition to his family: a German pastor named Big.

"We are so pleased to welcome Big to the Biden family, and we are grateful to the Humane Delaware Society for their work to find homes forever for Big animals and other animals," read a statement from the Bidens, sign & Former vice president, his wife, Jill Biden, and Champ, their other German pastor.

The Humane Delaware Society announced the adoption news on Facebook, writing in a position that the Bigger "comes from German pastoralist puppies that have surrendered and not doing well at all."

Once Biden "holds a wind of them," he "came out immediately," the group said on Facebook, adding, "The rest in history!"

The Bidens had been Fostering Big, the group said on Facebook, thanks to the family and wish them a lot of luck with their new pet.

"Today is the fortunate day of the Big! Not only did Mawr discover his home forever, but he was adopted by Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden!" he said the post.

Biden is possibly considered a 2020 democratic presidential candidate. As vice president, he would send full-featured versions of his other dog, Champ, for children. Champ also takes Biden at his office in Washington, DC, from time to time.
