College basketball scores, timetable, games today: Villanova is fighting Michigan; Dug runs away

The beginning of the college basketball season always brings us some wonderful condolences to start in November, and in fact, how much can you get more interesting than restoring the season's national championship season? That's what will happen to take away on Wednesday, when Michigan's No. 18 travels right outside of Philadelphia to go on the Villanova number 8 as the Wolverines and Wild Cats run back in April that Villanova saw his second national title in three terms. In addition to this relocation, No. 1 Duke, No. 9 Auburn, No. 11 Michigan State and No. 10 Kentucky will also operate.

CBS Sports will be with you a whole night on Wednesday, updating this story with the scores, results, highlights, latest analysis. Make sure you look back for predictions, the best best plays and the Live Games Games that cover all the actions. To renew the page for the latest updates, click here.

Michigan is plotting Villanova at half

The 2018 title match between Michigan and Villanova was 40 minutes of game time that served just like a Wild body. Villanova managed that game firmly, and scored for a 17-point victory. The relocation work that is played on Wednesday night plays out against the opposite. The Wolverines scored the first four points, and would not get closer to that in the opening frame, as they took 44-17 (!) Leads to half behind Charles Matthews's 16 points.

Duke took no prisoners against East Michigan

No. 1 Blue Devils continues to be on an absolute mission this season, and unfortunately, East Michigan fears the shame of Wednesday night in Durham. Dug is leading 50 minutes on the half, with RJ Barrett leading the way for the top team in the country with 12 points, two repetitions and six help. Oh, and William Williamson still does things incredible, by the way.

Michigan State is fighting Louisiana-Monroe

Spartans No. 11 are in a tougher one on Wednesday with Louisiana-Monroe than they would have preferred, but Tom Izzo's team holds 35-29 lead during half term. Joshua Langford is the scoring leader during the break for Michigan State with eight points while adding two repetitions. We can see if Michigan State plays a much better second half to take off and move to 2-1 on the young season.
